On a hot day in mid August these stones caught my eye from where they'd been sitting on my desk waiting for me to figure out what to do with them. I often leave stones out where I can see them as I pass by, and while they may sit there for some time, eventually some kind of spark of inspiration finally comes. These stones suddenly invoked a shimmering night sky on a late summer evening. And so the starlit night rings came to be. Labradorite and obsidian set in fine and sterling silver. The wide ring bands are dotted with stars and patinead for a soft antiqued finish.
